Harvest time at Hawks View

Sat. Oct, 2008 by admin

Jonathan (when he had long hair) and Kristin at the sorting line.

Our group took a field trip out to wine country to experience harvest first hand.

They were easy on us, or maybe we just arrived at a fairly calm time. It couldn’t have been a better day for getting out of the office- a gorgeous and sunny warm day.

A perfect day with Mt. Hood front and center.

Their location with it’s breathtaking views of Mt. Hood and the surrounding area always make me consider moving out of the city. We were happy to see people wearing the cool Harvest tees we designed as we were set to work on the sorting line. We all took it very seriously making sure nothing that would affect the taste of the wine went through- it wasn’t hard since the clusters were in great shape. We found out Krisitn has a strong aversion to insect and that we need to do more field trips. Hope we helped, we had a great time! Can’t wait to taste the results…

Makes me hungry- and thirsty!
