Oregon Olive Mill at Red Ridge has a new logo and label

This was a fun and creative project to work on, and the Durant family is so wonderful. This is part of a larger project we are working on with them. Red Ridge is a beautiful, prime location in Dayton owned by the Durant family for decades. They have a nursery, guest house, event space, vineyards and an olive mill. To say they are busy and have a lot of ideas would be an understatement. Everything is tied together with their careful stewardship of the land, the warmth and personality of everyone there, and the premium quality of what they produce.

For this design, we wanted to keep the natural, organic feel of the original label, but create a logo that is consistent with the entire brand, use illustrative elements, and give it an even more premium look. In order to do this project correctly, it was of course necessary to sample the olive oil extensively. I was surprised at how different and the amazing flavor this oil had. No more generic stuff for me, once you try it, you can’t go back.
