Vertical Response is the email service we recommend to the vast majority of our clients. They are good value, in terms of price versus deliverability, with strong reporting tools, email list tools and integration with Google Analytics.
There are others we have used in the past such as Constant Contact and Benchmark Email and for clients with high value lists it might be worth it to spend the extra money on a service like Exact Target but overall we have been very happy with Vertical Response.
They also do a pretty good job on reaching with marketing tips for small businesses. It’s a good read.
