WordPress 2.7 is a major upgrade from the fine folks in the WordPress community. Yes but what can it do for me you ask. Well…
The admin interface received a major facelift and really is much easier to use with “always there” expandable tool navigation on the left and the ability to move around tool modules by simply dragging and dropping even between the main center column and the right-hand bar. This combined with the new screen options tab in the upper right allows you to customize every area of the tool to your own personal workflow.
Posts and Pages now have the quickedit feature which allows you to make simple changes directly from the list of posts without having to click through to the details for the individual item.
WordPress continues to evolve in very interesting ways. Backed by a huge community of users and developers look for much better integration with audio and video in the next release.
